Interior Trails of Great Falls Park

We'll explore some of the interior trails of Great Falls Park (Matildaville, Ridge, Old Carriage, etc.) Some of the trails have short, steep hills, are rocky in places, or are covered by a thick layer of leaves. We'll finish the hike with a stop at the Great Falls Overlook. Roundtrip this hike will be approx. 6 miles / 2 hours in length. View park map.

This walk is not metro accessible. If anyone wishes to carpool, please make a note in your RSVP and make arrangements as needed.

Meetup Point
Once you pass the contact station, proceed straight to the Visitors Center parking lot. We'll meet in front of the park sign on the left side of the parking lot (when facing the V.C.). Click here for directions
