What Mike is saying about this Meetup Group

The group is great… However, during my initial walk, October 18, at Lake Needwood, a speeding biker knocked me over and asked me to pay for realigning his bicycle. Not thinking, I gave him my contact info. When I went to examine the bike, however, the biker became defensive, snatched it away, and sped off, though not before I noticed rust marks, suggesting clearly that any misalignment existed prior to the collision. My experience biking is that that hitting a pedestrian is highly unlikely to damage a bike, especially when no one was injured. The fact that he sped off, along with his defensiveness, suggested prior a misalignment existed prior to the incident, if at all. Subsequent to this, four eyewitnesses came forward to say that the biker could have easily veered off the flattened pathway, giving the walkers wide berth, easily avoiding the collision. Any witness would be very much appreciated, just in case. thanks, Mike
