My favorite walking path is Dyke Marsh, a block from my home with great scenery including a little beach that fronts the Belle Haven Marina, and views of the Wilson Bridge and National Harbor. From the finished deck at the end of the path, I often watch waterbirds including egrets and herring landing or flying above the marshes. There are humans too paddling on kayaks or canoes or cruising by on motorboats.
I like to bike along the Mount Vernon Trail, play tennis, dance, and swim.
Hello, I enjoy many activities including walking and nature whether it's Dyke Marsh on the Potomac or a beach on the Pacific coast in Mexico. I also enjoy photography, travel, reading, writing, and exploring new places.
This was my third walk with the group and thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and conversations. Looking forward to the next walk.
