Have you been to Chinatown to eat before? What are your thoughts of Chinatown? If you've been, which restaurants have you been to and what are your favorite dishes?

It's been quite a while since last been there and look forward to reacquainting self to area. I don't know that I really have a favorite dish. If it's good ingredients and it's well prepared, chances are I'll like it.

Is there a particular restaurant that you've been wanting to try in Chinatown but never have? Generally, what are your favorite foods?

I'm open to 'following the group' as far as where to try. As mentioned, it's been ages since I've been there. I've heard good things about Szechaun Tasty House. I'm ok with somewhat spicy/hot foods and I like contrasts- sweet/spicy, sweet/sour, e.g.

As we are looking for the adventurous and those willing to try anything once tell us what is the strangest thing you've ever ate.

Not tried anything that strange- unless you count scrapple! Only because I don't want to get 'stuck' w/dish if I don't like it. Don't like to send back dish just for that reason. This is chance to try tastes of strange things w/out worry of lots left

Would you consider yourself a lover of Asian food? If so, what country's cuisine do you love the most and why?

I like Asian food a lot but not really thought of what country's cuisines I love most. There's dishes I've liked from various Chinese regions- Thai, Vietnamese, Korean. BTW-- going to try any of the Asian places in Olney?

What's the main reason you wish to join this group and what would you like to gain from this group that will make your time worth while?

Main reason is to try new dishes and meet new people with the same interests. I think this is plenty to make it worth my time!

Hi my name is Janet and I live in NE Philadelphia. I'm open to trying a variety of Asian cuisines and look forward to meeting like-minded people.

What Janet is saying about this Meetup Group

It's a great idea, and I can't wait for the next event. The dim sum get-togethers and a Chinatown tour really sound interesting. Thanks Alex!
