Have you been to Chinatown to eat before? What are your thoughts of Chinatown? If you've been, which restaurants have you been to and what are your favorite dishes?
I have been to the Peking Duck place on the corner at Vine. Not being familiar with the
taste combination makes for a daunting adventure beyond General Tso chicken.
Is there a particular restaurant that you've been wanting to try in Chinatown but never have? Generally, what are your favorite foods?
I'd like to try Ragoon, a coworker's favorite.
As we are looking for the adventurous and those willing to try anything once tell us what is the strangest thing you've ever ate.
Oysters. To me, that was plenty strange.
Would you consider yourself a lover of Asian food? If so, what country's cuisine do you love the most and why?
No, but I do like Thai and Indonesian food. I find it lighter fare. Viet food is a little heavier.
What's the main reason you wish to join this group and what would you like to gain from this group that will make your time worth while?
To learn more about the cuisine and it's history/culture.
Looking forward to cracking the mysteries of America's oldest ChinaTown.
