Have you been to Chinatown to eat before? What are your thoughts of Chinatown? If you've been, which restaurants have you been to and what are your favorite dishes?

I really enjoy it - I've most enjoyed foods I don't know the name of because I've gone with friends who ordered for me, items not on the menu. I also have a penchant for Singapore noodles at least for takeout......

Is there a particular restaurant that you've been wanting to try in Chinatown but never have? Generally, what are your favorite foods?

Well Taiwanese food - only a few restaurants seem to serve some Taiwanese dishes. I quite like Korean food too.

As we are looking for the adventurous and those willing to try anything once tell us what is the strangest thing you've ever ate.

Well though I've tried them both, I am equally non appreciative of foie gras in France & pigs feet in the South....if I'm traveling I will really try whatever is put in front of me - if I like it I'll try to recreate it at home if I know what it is!

Would you consider yourself a lover of Asian food? If so, what country's cuisine do you love the most and why?

I started my food voyages in American Chinese food, moved on to Chinese food, Japanese, then Vietnamese and right now I'm in Korea...but thinking of checking out Taiwan

What's the main reason you wish to join this group and what would you like to gain from this group that will make your time worth while?

To try Taiwanese food! And learn something about it...with other adventurous people...

Introduction

Hi! I love trying new foods, cooking - trying Taiwanese food caught my eye.
