Hi budding photographers!
Polish your lenses and straighten your tripods because I have a pretty cool day out for you for next Sunday.
A new one day photography workshop tour is being developed by Kangarrific Tours and we are hoping to experiement with a group on Sunday.
Davide Gaglio, a Sicilian living in Sydney is keen to put together a workshop for those who have an SLR camera and don't really know how to get the most out of it (eg leave it in 'auto' most of the time)
The idea is great...we visit a number of locations in the Blue Mountains that are in different settings and Davide explains how best to capture a good shot.
It's a social, photography, experimental and environmental tour. Environmental because the day out will also be used to raise money for a tree planting program set up by Carbon Neutral, a company Kangarrific Tours works with to combat our continuous global warming battle. The day will be non profit! See http://www.carbonneutral.com.au/
It's a practice tour, so as smooth as we hope it will run, the tour has only been planned on paper so it's important to see how we go with it on the road with a group like yourselves. Feedback at the end of the day from you will be great...Davide especially will appreciate it. At the very least we will have fun hanging out, meeting a few new people and help the environment!
All welcome so feel free to bring your friends not part of this group. In fact non-photographers are also welcome if you just want a day out of town!
