This is an exploring trip to check out a secluded & beautiful waterfall deep in Royal National Park. It's a wonderful area, and I have been many times, yet this trip is to show the waterfall to another kayak guide - so I thought we could invite a few others along for the AMAZING paddle, and waterfall visit!
I have negotiated a discount Kayak Rental of $50 from Freedom Outdoors Kayak company.
We'll need to bushwalk about 500 meters through to the waterfall, so bring a pair of good walking shoes as the trail is rough, but not too bad.
Pack a lunch, water bottle, extra set of clothes for after the paddle (in case you get wet), swimsuit, sunscreen.
The water is still pretty nice, and swimming under the waterfall is incredible : )
I often take groups on outdoor trips, and have much experience with this. The kayak company is certified and has full first aid training, and permits. We will need to rent the boats from the kayak company, Freedom Outdoors at the discount rate of $50 - which is a very good price I am happy to be paying!
We'll meet at 11am near Sutherland, and paddle until about 3:30pm. There is public transport via Train/Bus. I'll be taking the 9:52 train from Central station to Gymea station, then a short bus if anyone wants to join me.
I can send more details to you via email, and ask me any questions you have:
See you on the water!
