Please join us for an extra-special Holiday gathering of fruit-fueled delight at Roadrunner Park in Phoenix! Come one, come all and meet Michael Arnstein, fruitarian veteran and champion of multiple ultramarathons. His fitness exploits must be seen to be believed! Check out his website at: http://thefruitarian.com/
We'll meet at the popular location of Roadrunner Park, NW corner of Cactus and Highway 51. There are plenty of gazebos on the east side of the park next to N. 36th Street from which to choose. You'll know you're in the right spot if you see watermelons on the table :) If you need help finding us call:[masked]
The what: Holiday Fruitluck in the PHX
The when: December 16, 2012, 3 PM
The where: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=roadrunner+park+phoenix&daddr=3502+East+Cactus+Road,+Phoenix,+Arizona+85032+(Roadrunner+Park)&hl=en&ll=33.598714,-112.006667&spn=0.009616,0.013711&view=m...
The how: Bring a dish, bowl, platter, basket, or bushel of your favorite, entirely vegan fresh fruit, veggies or salad. Let’s allow the delicious natural flavors speak for themselves, so no additives or condiments are necessary. We'll pretend it’s nature's bounty just picked. With the goal of keeping things as eco-friendly as possible, please bring enough personal, reusable-if-possible utensils, plates, etc for yourself and any guests you might invite. Restrooms, basic in the extreme, are available. The bolted-down available chairs are, shall we say, firm, so if you're partial to a comfy seat, bring that too. There's plenty of room to romp and play, with huge grassy areas and volleyball, basketball, baseball, tennis zones nearby. Bring any sporting equipment, toys, or games (including board games) you enjoy.
See you there!
