Breathtaking views, beautiful music, and lots of aloha with Pat “Palika” Enos - every TUESDAY at the Dana Point Yacht Club.
Pat is a much-loved emcee and musical group leader, a respected ukulele teacher, and a widely-known professional entertainer. Pat is also Owner and President of Bill Tapia Ukuleles.
Everyone is invited. Aloha Thursdays attendees include ukulele players and hula dancers of all abilities and of all ages (well-behaved kids are always welcomed).
Pat will showcase a great variety of songs spanning many genres and many eras. These are in addition to traditional Hawaiian-language mele (songs) and favorite hapa haole tunes. You’re bound to find something to love among the many songs you’ll be playing.
Ukulele strumming plus playing tips and tricks - and it's free!
Friends and family are always welcome - and that includes even the non-ukulele playing types. Bring them along. They’ll enjoy the music and the hula - and we might even manage to have them playing the ukulele by the time they leave.
Hungry or thirsty? Chef Jonny, of the Dana Point Yacht Club, plans and prepares a wonderful, hot buffet each week just for Aloha Strum. Turkey, Meatloaf, Italian, Mexican, Cajun (for Mardi Gras) - it changes every week, it always includes all of the fixings, and it’s always great. We try to publish the menu a few days days before each Tuesday’s kanikapila. There’s also a full bar plus coffee, soft drinks, and water.
So stop by Tuesdays, beginning Januaury 14. You’ll quickly discover that we’re a warm, friendly, and welcoming group. For more details, see our website: www.alohastrum.com.
To view and/or download a full-size Aloha Strum event flyer, please select “More” on the menu bar (above) and then select the item from the drop-down menu that says “Files."
