* “I love doing comedy for people who believe our thoughts create our reality... ‘cause if I’m not funny, it’s their fault!”
*“Beliefs are like diapers ... they cover your butt and hold in all your crap.”
*“I'm not very “spiritual”. Sometimes I go to raw food restaurants, bring the food home ... and cook it.”

Getting serious about life, the deaths of her brother and father, spiritual teachers and her famous old boyfriends:
From Massachusetts, Vanda was a waitress, initiate of an esoteric mystery school, drug addict, drunk, mainstream comic, (Showtime, Lifetime) transformational course leader & Yogini. She left show biz at 33 to follow her spiritual path & "check in rather than check out". She toured w/ the Dixie Chicks as their Yoga guru. After the success of her friend's film, "What the Bleep do we Know?" Vanda loaded her home into her Honda Civic, & drove to LA -this time sober and eager to do what she wanted to do for a living. She lives in Venice Beach , CA .
