Permanent Expression Engine Ninja needed - salary to £32k

Post #: 3
I'm recruiting for a full-time, permanent senior web designer with awesome EE skills to work with clients including BA, British Heart Foundation, Ernst & Young and Heineken.

Front- and back-end web design, development and deployment is the most important aspect of the position. You must have the ability to create wireframes and design concepts and develop them into aesthetically pleasing, elegantly coded and functional applications.

You will be an expert in XHTML, HTML5, CSS2/3 and Photoshop and will know how to inject a little magic into your designs using jQuery. You’ll be fully conversant with the principles of responsive design and SEO, and knowledgeable about how to work around IE’s quirks.

As well as having first-class front-end design and build skills you’ll be happy getting stuck into the back-end. You’ll be very experienced with Expression Engine and have a broad knowledge of the best add-ons. And you’ll be happy getting your hands dirty in Wordpress, too. Naturally, you will be confident working in the LAMP web server environment, happy coding a little light PHP 4/5 and MySQL from scratch and working with SVN version control.

Previous experience of the Adobe Digital Publishing Suite in delivering iPad magazines would be beneficial, but not essential - you’ll be a highly motivated, fast learner who will pick up new skills effortlessly.

You will be confident explaining digital concepts to your colleagues and clients. And throughout you’ll be able to work efficiently, while maintaining a good sense of humour, under pressure.

To apply, please see the details on the Wardour website
