What practices do you use to keep your body healthy?

Qigong, Amma therapy, swimming, walking and yoga. I avoid rich foods, eat a lot of fresh produce, a little chicken, a fair amount of fish, drink alcohol only a little, and try to sleep well.

What practices do you use to keep your mind clear of unwanted thoughts?

Energy practices, such as emotional freedome technique, and a lot of distraction.

Would you like to feel even better than you feel now?

Who wouldn't? I have osteoarthritis. I have to be very careful about the balance -- not overdoing a good thing, and listening to my own body, not what others recommend necessarily.

In what ways have you been inspired to practice better mind/body health?

Dona Eden workshop, myriad classes (cardio salsa, yoga, qigong, Buddhist meditation) and recognizing how unhealthy eating and behavior makes me feel - - yucky. Also, working in community mental health and seeing so much suffering intertwined with unhealthy behaviors.
