Thanks again to Scott Elliot for doing a great job presenting at our last meeting on energy efficiency. There was a great turnout, which I think reflects the amount of interest surrounding energy efficiency.

This month's topic covers biofuels and how they fit into the U.S. energy supply. Serena Batten, who has been researching the biofuel market over the past year, will present stats and projections on energy demand, biofuels, and viable sources of feedstock for biofuel production.

Specifically, this presentation will cover:
Energy production and consumption overview
Biofuel production projections and current stats
Viability analysis of multiple biofuel feedstocks
Emissions comparison between biofuels and petroleum-based fuels
