The copy looks great.  I'm going to assume that everyone got this blurp as a notice email-wise.  As far as the Home page on Meetup your notice is somewhat deminished under the heading, "What's new?" Along with "what's new" it seems like we are consistently picking up new membership on a daily basis.  It makes it all that harder to let this thing die.

I just wanted to send a note about an upcoming event that I thought some of you might be interested in. There is a potluck dinner being held this coming Sunday on Phinney Ridge. Its an opportunity to hang out with members of other like-minded groups here in the city. This isn't a Seattle Renewables event, but please feel free to attend in representation of Seattle Renewable Energy Meetup.
