Permaculture: What Is It and Why Do I Want It?

Does it save energy to grow your own food? I think it does--if nothing else it saves the transport energy and the energy of keeping warehouses and food stores open.

Starting to grow food? Permaculture will help you get your feet wet in a small way. If you want to live life to a degree of sustainability, Permaculture IS Sustainable Living the easy way. And...If you are growing food in North Central Texas, you do want this.

Come get a taste of Permaculture and find out the only feasible way to grow organic or even conventional food in North Central Texas utilizes its principles and practices.

Introduction is by Nick Burtner. He is just back from a two-week course in Australia with Permaculture founder Bill Mollison and Mollison’s former student, Geoff Lawton, now a Permaculture guru, teacher, and consultant on his own.

This was a very informative meetup.
Address is not 2400 Lee street. It is more like 2301 Lee, in a little building at corner Lee street and Bois D' Arc Street.

Rick really knew the topic and shared it well. Q&A was helpful too. Looking forward to next meeting!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
