Where: Community Forklift, 4671 Tanglewood Drive, Edmonston MD[masked]
DescriptionIt's been exactly one year since Community Forklift opened Salvage Arts, it's vintage section, and they're celebrating with special discounts on antique door knobs, salvaged mantelpieces, vintage light fixtures, and more. They'll have food all day (feel free to bring a dish or baked goods yourself), and entertainment from DJ One HeART Muzik, with live bands added in the afternoon. Each hour, you'll have a chance to win raffle prizes and gift certificates. Stop on by!
Note: Community Forklift is a Goodwill for re-used home fixtures and building supplies, and receiving donations of excess building supplies, which it sells at good prices to the public. All this helps people save money on their home projects, reduces landfill waste, and reduces climate change.

I bought and installed a large double hung window from Community Forklift so a senior citizen friend could turn a walk out basement back room into a bedroom so the basement could be rented out as a separate apartment, (it already had a kitchen and bath).
