We will meet up on Thursday at 6:15 PM at Tenley Circle metro for a 1 hour bike ride and then have pizza to discuss EcoTour, Conference and all other topics related to our programs. Must have helmet, bring lock, water etc  for a good ride. We'll be merging with Potomac Peddlers touring club Thursday evening 6:30 PM ride (membership not required) for the ride portion, feel free to bring a friend.

Come represent CarbonfreeDC at Green Jobs Now, a national day of action for a new carbon-free economy. On September 27, tens of thousands of people all across the country will be organizing events to tell the next President and Congress that we are ready for green jobs now. is partnering with the Chesapeake Climate Action Network and Greater Washington Power and Light. The MLK Jr. Avenue Service Project, Green-Collar Jobs, Health and Community Fair will educate, encourage and empower DC low-income residents, ex-offenders and the faith-based communities in Ward 8. The vision for this event is to increase participation in and awareness of the green-collar movement to pull people out of poverty and improve the planet we all live on.­
We need your support! CarbonfreeDC will host a booth and needs members to come and use signs, T-shirts and other creative methods of visually demonstrating your support at the event. When you RSVP please share your ideas!
