Presenter: Patrick McCue, organizer and initiator of the Arizona Micro Dwell exhibition that took place at the Shemer Art Center and Museum, for its inaugural 2012 season.
Patrick McCue is a Phoenix firefighter. Over the past twenty-five years he has also worked as the business owner, welder and fabricator at his company, Rocket FAB. Mr. McCue has designed and built innovative housing which has received recognition within the architectural community. He salvages and restores vintage furniture and mechanical items, and builds and maintains fire service products. His clients include restaurants and business owners, collectors, homeowners, school districts, colleges, and fire departments throughout the Southwestern United States. He has an interest in well-designed, affordable housing that is built with salvaged materials using quality construction techniques. Mr. McCue's ideal Micro Dwelling client is someone who wants simple living and innovative thinking.
Whether you are a member or not, please come if you are interested in discussing sustainability, and ideas that help move us away from dependency on foreign energy and oil for fuel. This is also a great environment to get ideas for getting past roadblocks in projects you may be working on. All people and ideas are welcome. Typical meeting agenda:
