Program: Microdwell 2012

Subject: Sustainable Living

Microdwell is an exhibit of owner built micro dwellings. The exhibit showcases the design build features of small modular structures, their varied uses, alternative construction techniques and cost effectiveness. Micro Dwell 2012 highlights the positive benefits to the environment by conscientious materials selection, use of salvage materials, and minimization of waste. Details:

This is a free exhibit. The Web site says that this Saturday is: "Pet Day in the Micro Dwellings" so I assume you can bring your pooch if you are not interested in the indoor museum exhibits.

Hope to see you there.

Interesting examples of small, compact spaces and reusable materials but not a lot of emphasis on energy efficiency or renewable energy.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
