I received a response back from the SEIA organization. See below, it's in draft format and has no number assigned just yet. Maybe this will give us some time to make our opinions known.

I forwarded this on to the Phoenix Alternative Energy Meet Up Group, of which I belong. See below. We would like to know the specific bill number. Could you please let us know the bill number? I can then forward it on again to all the members.
Thank you.

I thought this might be of interest to people in our group. This notice comes from the Solar Energy Industries Association.

House energy bill moving without solar provisions

Please call Congress NOW!
|
|
The House Energy and Commerce Committee is nearing agreement on the climate and renewable portfolio provisions of the energy bill. Specific provisions that would ensure solar deployment are not currently included.
Time is short and we need you to call NOW!
Your member of the U.S. House needs to fight for the inclusion of provisions that will deploy solar in the energy bill. Without specific deployment mechanisms solar will not benefit from passage of the energy bill.
Given the urgency we want you to call your Congressperson.
Please forward this message to friends, relatives, colleagues and anyone who you think cares enough about solar to help.
