Kudos for starting this group! The more people who understand the
need for and benefits of carbon-free energy sources (solar, wind, tide,
geothermal, et al. -- but not nuclear) the more likely we'll acquire the
political will to get something substantive done in Congress. I wish your
group every success and will participate from time to time, but can't make this
meeting.
I'm a chemist who's been interested in energy issues since the '60s.
I live in Sun City, and nearly everything I care about takes place east of
I 17. Do you know of a similar group which meets west of the I 17?
I'm just plain tired of driving so far to support the things I believe in --
which is a great deal more than just carbon-free energy.
