Book to Art: Book Thief and altered books

Read it; create it.

Book to Art is a new series of programs that pairs books about art with an art activity. This month, we will read "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak and use old books to create your own works of art. Pick up a copy of The Book Thief in any library; we will be discussing it at this event.

I would really like to attend but I haven't finished the book and mid-weeknight isn't a great time for me. Sat. would be great.

love to go, but I am working. If nothing else, might you guys think of holding the art activity on some other weekend?

Sounds like fun! Although given the subject matter of the Book Thief, fun might not be the Best Word!
