Since I can no longer attend this group, I'm going to share 1800 words in posts and replies on the event wall every two weeks!

You are missed Paul! Hope all is well in TX.

Thanks, Margreit! Let me know when your book comes out! Things could be much better here. I'm maladjusted, malignant, and maligning. This just means I fit better in New York. Keep me abreast of job postings for someone with my skill set!

except for my falling on the way back, I had a blast! feels good to be back!

I give it 4 1/2 stars cause a lot of people signed up but didn't show up. Shames on you. Still, was a nice meeting.

Thank You Karen, and FYI all, I had a very frightening central nervous system complication from my flu shot yesterday. Today I'm much better and expect to be 100% soon. However the reason for missing the session is much less dramatic. I spent three days in Atlantic City and was not at all prepared for the session... I'm a bad boy.

So glad to hear you're feeling better! Thanks for the support, means so much. I'll have pic on fb soon, look forward to hearing your thoughts :)

As always so worth going as often as I can.

I couldn't get the rating thing above to work prperly but I rated the meeting a 4 out of five. A few people had a good excuse but when about a dozen people out of 27 show up------. Anyway, they missed a good meeting. Two of my favorite stories were read by their writers, John read a good piece, and steve continued with Johnathan at the factory. I also got some good suggestions to make my stories better. And one writer is giving several poetry reading at a few places George Walsh

Sorry I missed the meeting, thought I would get back from my business trip on time - flight was delayed when the plane's computer crashed. That filled with me confidence.

Although I am signed up for today's meeting, I will be unable to attend due to last minute complications. I apologize for the late notice. Thanks!

I will be there, but probably late. Hopefully by 2. Looking forward to it as always.

Oh, Karen, I'm not sure I said you have lyrical rhythm. Are you sure you weren't usurping my voice there?

      September 13, 2013

    • Pall

Of course I'm not saying that I'm saying you don't, but I'm not sure I indicated you did.

Hey folks, hope no one minds a little bit of shilling. One of my stories has been published in an awesome anthology of pulp/crime stories- SHOTGUN HONEY BOTH BARRELS Vol. 2. The kindle edition is cheaper than a meals at McDonalds, and healthier to boot! Here's the link for anyone that's interested http://amzn.com/B00F3AUYD0

      awesome news! Great job!

Rad. I just bought a Kindle copy.

No need to apologize for shilling, and it's a great accomplishment to be published. That story about wrestling had a uniquely ironic stylistic drive-train, and I'm wondering if that's the one. In any case congratulations and I'll purchase/read soon. In the meantime I'm back to daily attempts to remove that part of the cerebral larynx that houses the "show-off," you noted the last we spoke, attending subjectively fixated megalomaniac's anonymous meetings, etc.. But really its about going from intuitive messmaker to being a craftsman in a second draft. So, batting my head into many a brick wall to find the right ways with this gorilla. Again, congratulations.

Hey, I joined...so when do I get to hear the stuff and read mine. I will be out of the country at the next date. Can I read on line or post?
Cant wait now that I have decided to come out of the closet and share my words..

Coming back from a business meeting out of state, so I might be late. Understand the rules, Steve, if I am late, no reading. I'm good with that.

I CANNOT believe I made it on to the official list! Something must be wrong :)

    3 · July 26, 2013

And NOW I find out that there is a family wedding out of state that weekend, so even though I made it on to the list, now I have to take my name off :(

As many of you know, I've been offered a job in Houston, Texas (though I've yet to receive the actual offer from Inhuman Resources). This Sunday, 11 August, 2013, 8 pm to close, all-you-can-bowl for $12, shoe rentals included at Commack AMF Lanes. This is my going away thing.

Did you want to bring people I don't know? Sure, as long as they're not @&&holes.

I'm leaving New York for my new job in Houston on Tuesday morning, so don't expect to see after Sunday night because I'mma be stressed and have a lot to do in the final day.

If you can make it, great, otherwise I hope to see you when I visit.
