The darker and funnier, the better. I really liked your reading of the "Kevourkian" poem, if that indeed is the one. I think it was one that was somewhat a response to Hurricane Sandy and your mother. I don't know which of the two figures is a more ravaging force.

Although I have great news. Just got my story back from my proofreader and I just spoke to a publishing company. Hopefully my story will be in print real soon :) :) :).

Someone....fly me out for the weekend!

I haven't been around. Not that I haven't been writing, or that I've forgotten your gorgeous faces; it's just that I like getting drunk and watching football. Call me a sinner, I'd rather you call me a cab. Until soon, Rich.

The things in life I do not like have won another battle against the things I do. See you all in November.

My problem lately is I don't get out of work in Melville until 2:30, so... I guess to prevent member-despair and a dwindling population due to the lack of me, I'll get there toward the end of some meetings and holidays, and in the meantime just wrestle this gorilla bit of mine into existence.

P.S. I downloaded Steve's document... it is .docx that could be your issue. I have saved it as a .doc and will send it to you as an attachment in an e-mail.

Oh crap, the best laid plans ... I had to cut and paste the body of Steve's document into the body of the e-mail ... NO attachments allowed.

That is the skin of his firstborn mutant child, slain in battle with the New Jersey Highway Patrol, from when Steve lived in the swamps of Jersey.
