Saturday evening Meetup at the Hamburger Kammerspiele on 1 December 2012

Hi everyone,

On Saturday 1 December 2012, the E-Tisch will head to the Kammerspiele for more English speaking fun. :-)

Curious? Here are the details:

Time: Saturday evening 1 December 2012 starting at 20:00.

Place: Hamburger Kammerspiele, Hartungstrasse 9-11 (Univiertel)

Subway ways: U-Bahn Hallerstraße, Hallerstraße or Hallerstraße. (Please just choose Hallerstraße. Or take mega-bus 15, 5 or 4.)

Price of admission: Zero Euros. (No student discounts available.)

Attendance: Between 25 and 150 people. This time probably 60 or so ... but who knows?

Many “Grüße”,
Chapin, Tom, Tim, Steffy, Sylvia, Canadian Bob, and David (and lots of international E-Tisch-people!)

An E-Tisch joke:

Unexpected pet purchase purpose.
The little girl is unforgettable. Not only does she have cute freckles, an adorable button nose, and fantastically curly red hair, but she also has the sweetest little lisp.  So when she walks into a pet shop and asks the following question, it is irresistibly endearing for the man working behind the counter. After all, she says it like this : "Excuthe me, mithter, do you keep wittle wabbits?"

Enchanted, the shopkeeper gets down on his knees, so that it is easier for him to talk to the tiny child. He can't stop himself from imitating her way of speaking, and he asks: "Do you want a wittle white wabbit or a soft and fuwwy bwack wabbit or maybe one like that cute wittle bwown wabbit over there?"

The little girl puts her hands on her knees, ponders the unexpected question for a moment. She then leans forward towards the man and says in a quiet voice: "I don't fink my pyfon snake weally giveths a thit what kind of wabbit it is. He's hugwy."
