American & British pre Soccer Game Happy Hour - Picnic

Hi. We are going to do a no frills happy/ hour next friday with the brit group. We figured it is best to meet before, break the ice, and develop friends ships before the big game. This should avoid any bar fights stemming from hot-headed alcohol induced comments during the soccer game. :)

The weather is supposed to be nice, so we are going to do this meetup outside along the Seine. There is a nice area on the quai next to Notre Dame (Quai de Tournelle).

We will meet in from of Notre Dame at 8:00PM on Friday (Middle door) and walk down to the area by 830p. Try not to be late because it may be difficult to find us after. I think the link below will be a map of the region... If it works

Bring wine and stinky cheese to share.

see u there.

    It was a wonderful oportunity to see a good mix of Americans and British people ;
    We must renew that experience again, the sooner will be the better.

    I met a lot of new people at this meet up and everyone was really friendly. Most were new to Paris which for me, was a nice commonality to have. Great idea - this 'pique-nique' on the Seine!

    I'm not sure I'll be able to make it on time. Can someone send me a phone number I can call in case I'm late?

    Hey Flicka! I'm excited to see you again! It looks like it is going to be a big turn out, so if you already have that stuff or are going to the store anyway, please bring some. The organizers will be bringing them as well, but it's better to have more than not enough just in case. Thanks!

    Hey guys! Is anyone bringing plastic cups, plastic knifes, napkins, etc? Or should we all bring some of that stuff as well? Let me know!

    We know Andrew. I just can't resist teasing my big bro. Someone else is going to have to do it for me when I go to the U.S. Any volunteers?

    Andrew, I cannot wait to "develop new friends ships" in front of the middle door by the cement barrier things. :)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
