Tis' the Season for Christmas Carols!

One of our members, Nicolene, has requested we sing some Christmas carols. So, let's get together and sing along! We'll meet in front of the fontaine at St. Michel with sheet music for some, and when we run out people can share.

We're also looking for up to 10 of you who would like to sing these carols as part of the organized singing group. Those of you who are interested in singing as part of the set group, please indicate so when you RSVP. For the rest of you, we have some extra sheet music to hand out.

Half way through, we will take a break and grab some coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc.

Hope to see you all there!

A bit late, but wanted to thank all of those who came out to sing, and a special thanks to Nicolene for the great idea!

A big thank you to all who came and an even bigger thanks to those who chipped in, without you guys those boxes would have remained quite empty. Merry Christmas to all.

I've got 20 booklets, first come, first served basis. I wonder what's better, rain or cold? (:
I'll need a couple of body guards to watch the donation boxes.

    Hi everyone!

In case people would like to know about the fundraising that'll be done, here you go. There will be a donation box for the Abbe Pierre group and one for a French humane society, One Voice.

    Request:

It'd be great if we could try to wear some red or green even if it's only red gloves or scarf to cheer up spirits. Definitely don't forget to bring your gloves! Holding music will make your hands cold. See you all tomorrow!

Just to clarify (and apologies for so much posting!):

the two performances are the two shows from 3 to 4 and from 5 to 6. It would be great if you could stay for one of the sets/performances. There will be fundraising as well. For two good causes!

Hi all, In support of those singing, once you're there, it would be great if you can stay for 2 songs :). If it's too cold, of course no hard feelings if you can't stay very long!

Alright folks, it seems as though some were confused. There is no separate group singing elsewhere. To make is easier and less confusing, anyone who wants to come and sing along can do so. Don't worry about being a caroler vs singing in the audience. Hope this clears things up! Let me know if you still have any questions!

Sure, I'll be a caroler. I'll probably be bringing along Adam, my fiancé to sing as well.

If you want to be one of the carolers, you don't have to be the greatest singer! I'm going to put a list up for now. Bridgette, I take it that means you want to be one of the carolers, correct? Not sure if you want to do that or sing along in the audience.
