What do you find to be the biggest cultural differences between Americans and French? (non-pc answers encouraged)

Two things: The beautiful French language and the fact that the French people can eat everything that I am not able to eat and still be in better health than I. At my age I will most likely never discover the reason but I'd love to die trying.

I'm Dominic Caruso, from New York, 76 years old, artist/writer and am seriously considering spending at least half of my time at Paris. I am concerned about the Greece possible recession from the Euro community.
