This is not a Meetup Event. This is your duty as a person living legally in this society. You have the right to vote so use it! Remember if you do not vote you loose the right to complain and if you have lived legally in DK for 3 or more years you have the right to vote!
SO How about voting in the ovember 19 city council and regional elections?
The low foreigners turn-out is a topical issue - DF wants to ban foreigners voting, (no big surprises), Lasse Jensen (CpH mayors son) is pushing to improve foreigners rights in Denmark and the Integration and Social Affairs Ministry has a campaign to encourage immigrants to vote in the November 19 elections after a low turnout four years ago.
Why am I pushing this - four years ago I lobbied to change the law to make it easier for some foreigners to vote, and the Danish government agreed to make the changes - In that great Danish way , they did not forget the promise and made the change happen, which I think deserves a touch of respect by voting this time around.
