Introduction

I have lived here for 1.5 year and have finally reached a point of fitting in but still need to relate to my own kind! I love bikes, kites, frisbees, adventures in the forests, poetry, art, photography, travel, meeting new people....

Where are you from?/Where else have you lived?

Houston, Tx and was living in Golden, CO for 5 years before I moved out here.

What surprises you about Copenhagen or Denmark?

That is one to think about! But if you are not a Dane it is interesting in finding your place! Many people are open to us but then there are many that are very closed and feel threatened by us foreigners! I love the bike lanes!!

Have you found a decent Mexican restaurant here yet? If so, where?

I grew up in Texas and there is no possible way KBH can duplicate Mexican food!!

What brings you here, & how long do you plan to stay?

My husband is danish and you know the rest of the story.... We plan to start here with hopes of going back but one can not predict the future. I work as a vikar at a fritidshjemme for children with disabilites and love it!
