Where do I buy...

When you arrive here, you may see a lot of signs in your neighborhood, and not have any idea what these stores are for. What should be the simple act of buying ground beef can be intimidating, even if your grasp of the Danish language is high enough to know the words for "ground beef." While we can't hope to provide a comprehensive list of stores in the Greater Copenhagen Area, we can give you a starting place so you don't feel so out of place. The focus is on chain stores to keep this list under control, however specialty stores will be listed if they offer something our members may find worth traveling for.
(Something missing? Let me know!)
It may help to use your browser's "Find in Page" function to search for a particular item or store. One store may be listed in several categories. It is worth noting that Bilka is basically the Danish version of Wal-Mart – monstrous and selling some version of just about anything.
