This is an actual, real proper local in the heart of Spitalfields, Brick Lane and the City. As if you couldn't guess by the title of the pub, and by every sort of gun cannon paraphernalia on everything (including the carpets!) this is definitely an Arsenal Pub, long since "holding to it's guns" by staying a proper local in the face of ever encroaching gentrification of Spitalfields market (which looms over it) and the nearby City of London.

As this is such a splendid day this is the best outdoors pub to enjoy a pint by a long stretch. We'll be outdoors in the front of the place on the side street. And with the genuinely loopy young Italian live in barstaff giving one another back flips behind the bar it always attracts a good crowd and seems as good a place as any to begin a bank holiday Friday. Perfect location, perfect crowd, See you there!
