Photo Ad: Seeking Americans & Canadians, pays £850 OPEN CASTING

Jody Furlong, casting director for "The Eye Casting" is currently casting people to appear in a photographic adverts for a mobile phone company. He needs BOTH Americans and Canadians (separately) and several of them.

The new campaign is to advertise their deals to phone home within the UK - the campaign is concentrating on different ethnic communities in the UK two of which is American and Canadian.

You may ask yourself "What does a Canadian or American look like?" This casting call is less about meeting a casting look or type and more about legal compliance; As these photos are going to be for a national ad for a large cellular service company it is important that all models purported to be of any nationality be passport holders of that nation state. That's where you cash in..

They are looking for people quickly, as the casted shot is to take place later next week (at the flexibility of those who are cast) and they do not have any prospects as of yet from the North American community, so there is a good chance that if you call them you will be the one selected for their piece!

Whats more is that the ad is meant to represent the general public, so this is not just for the beautiful people. As they are looking for anyone between the ages of 20-55 and of both sexes, people over the age of 35 are strongly encouraged to reply. No specific age, sex nor ethniticity is being sought, just US or Canadian passport holders.

Did I mention that it pays £750 pounds sterling? Here's how it works; come down to Old Street this weekend (4:00pm either this Saturday or Sunday) for the open call, or phone the agency strait away. They will take some test shots of you which takes only a few minutes. Anyone chosen for the shoot will receive £100 for up to 2 hours work. Whoever is chosen from those shots will actually appear in the ad and receive a further £750. The shoot will take place from THIS WEEKEND and NEXT WEEK. The agency are very flexible as to when and where the final shoot takes place and can work with the models chosen, to make it convenient for them.

Give em a shout, even if you are not American; Many of our members are from all over the world and this photo project requires people from all over the world and are operating on a tight deadline. If you are neither Canadian nor American give them a call anyway, Who knows, you might be the only Polish, Indian, Jamaican, New Zealander or Japanese, Etc. person they've got!
