10 Year Anniversary: Mexican Brunch
1pm - 5pm, 20 Bedford Way Entrance
This Sunday we celebrate 10 years of American Meetup bringing together the expat American community with the expat Mexican community of London to ring in the festive holiday season right.
Full bar available all afternoon.
This is definitely a kid friendly event! There is going to be a huge colourful piñatas for the kids to smash and enjoy, as well as a piñata making session so that they can take home their own little piñata! Kids are also invited to participate in a theatrical reading of the Pastorela, a story of the shepherds following the Christmas Star (arrive promptly, 1.30pm to get your kids a role!).
Put your letter to Father Christmas and the Three Wise Kings in the special mailbox (have you been naughty or nice?). Traditional procession (in which Joseph and Mary are asking for a place to stay). Lot's of other kids for your kids to play with.
Which of course give you time to socialise with the grownups; there is a a full bar is expected to be available.
Mexican Brunch: there will also be Paz’ delicious food - tostadas de tinga, tacos de rajas con crema, tacos de nopales en salsa verde con chicharrón and frijolitos with our host Mabel's grandma's recipie!
Non alcoholic drinks: ponche, café de olla, chocolate, agua de horchata and agua de jamaica.
Those hankering for GOOD quality Mexican fare now have no excuses! See you there!
