American Meetup: The expat American community in London come together to watch the second game of World Cup for Team USA.
400 expat Americans gathered to watch USA v Ghana, June 16th, 2014.
Germany trounced Portugal 4-0, but nothing should be left to chance. USA has won over Portugal in World Cup 2006, so it's a real match and it's all to play for. But Team USA has more than a sporting chance to win and to break out of Group G and take it all the way.
We have a special late license, craft beers on tap. Doors open at 7:00pm, and kick off is at 11:00pm LIVE from Brazil.
The mood was electric last time; with Clint Dempsey taking a bloody kick to the face and getting up to score his second winning goal for team USA, and a sterling goalkeeping from Tim Howard taking more than his share of Team USA's defense in the second half
An exciting match, not to be missed. See you there!
