Hometown: Birmingham, England
December 4, 2011
Hi I'm 36 yrs and have moved to New Zealand from England - but I love the States and miss it greatly at Christmas time - I have never lived there as such, the longest time I have stayed there is 3 months - I go there regularly but can't while in NZ.
England - but American wise - the State I know best is South Dakota!
12 month work visa for a change and a challenge.
12 months but would love to stay longer if the Government let me!
Meeting loads of new people, who I can chat to about the US, parts I have been to and parts I haven't. The best parts of any country are the ones off the beaten track that only locals know of - I tend to stay away from the major touristy areas!
Hiking, walking, whale and dolphin watching - beach day? get togethers for coffees, teas etc - lunch.....knitting! I'm up for anything that doesn't involve heights to be honest or jumping off things attached to a rope!
Hi Nicola, Welcome to our group, I've not done this laser game thing but have seen it on TV, you have this gun that shines a laser beam and you have to shoot as many people as you can to gain points. I see you don't drive a car so attending events is tricky, we have 2 others in our group who use bus or get a lift to events, if you want to attend one of our meet ups you could post a request for a ride, several people cross town travel to our saturday coffee meet ups, Kind Regards Paul
yes, I was wondering why Gemma has not been in touch and organised another meeting yet ! She talked about a meeting on Waiheke last time, didn't she ? How about we meet again on Thursday 9th July at the Library Bar ? I would like that and we can maybe talk about how the group can continue, which I would like to happen very much.
Hope to see you soon. Ziggy
Just noticed you're from Birmingham! I'm a Stourbridgite (thought strictly speaking spent my first 3 days in Erdington having been born at my nan's house! lol)
Well, welcome aboard the GSOAuckland and hopefully we'll meet you soon.
In the meantime, please go to this link which gives you some information you need to know about our group:
