This is the Meetup group for the Georgia chapter of Americans United for Separation of Church and State. AU was established in 1947 and has over 1,000 members in Georgia. Learn more about AU in the "About" section.
This meetup group is just one of our internet outreach efforts. Anyone is welcome to join this group but being a member of this group does not create an actual AU membership. We encourage all those who wish to help defend religious liberty to become members of AU and the GA Chapter.
We will soon be planning some social meet and greets for members to have an opportunity to get to know the chapter leaders and other members.

With the objective of making more Georgians aware of our existence in the state, this meetup is the first of many that will help get the word out that when there is a church / state issue, citizens have a local arm of the national AU organization to turn to.
