She's been begging me on FB.
She said J-pop is fine too, it doesn't have to be Enka.
I can't do it tho :(

Japanese TV is looking for 1 more Enka singing contestant!
I work for a Japanese TV production company called, Collaboration America, Inc. in New York City.
We are organizing a Enka singing contest on this Wednesday, Oct 3 in NYC.
This is a segment for the "iine Japan!" to be aired on Fuji TV Network in November.
I know this is such a short notice, but I was wondering if you would be interested in participating on our competition.
We do pay compensation, food, and transportation to the contestants.
Also, the winner gets to travel to Japan!
Please let me know if you would be available and interested or if you know someone who would be!
Thank you and hope to speak to you soon.

We are a Japanese-English language exchange group with a focus on conversation practice for those looking to improve fluency and ability to discuss various topics beyond the basics of "Nice weather we're having today/今日はいい天気ですね"
During each meet-up, we speak only Japanese half the time, and then only English the other half. Conversation topics will be chosen beforehand and posted in each event description--members are encouraged to prepare by learning more about the talking points beforehand. The more thoughts you can share, the better our conversation practice will become! Language exchange meet-ups will be held on Sunday afternoons at Citi Atrium (601 Lexington Avenue). We also host fun outings in between--things like ordering in Japanese at an izakaya, or in English at a steakhouse; or watching Japanese/English movies; or visiting Japan society; or catching a Yankees game. Ultimately, we want to bring YOU the best of Japanese and American culture in New York (and a rip-snortin' good time, too!)
And check us out on Facebook, where you'll find recaps of our events and bi-lingual conversations about anything!
Ultimately, we want to provide our members with 1)Japanese & English conversation practice,2)Japanese & American culture exchange, and3) a Japanese & American community in NY for friends, networking, and support.
We can't wait to meet and practice Japanese & English with all of you! お楽しみにしています！
