This week's Facebook topic is: Are you nervous/excited/nauseous about taking the JLPT exam on Sunday, December 2nd? And if you are not taking the test this year, do you plan to take it next year?

This will be an intense week for many group members and I wish all of you the very best! Just remember that the study you do for this exam is already a big achievement because the kanji and vocabulary are very necessary on the road to fluency. I am happy to support any excuse in the world that makes people study Japanese!

We have 2 upcoming Events to finish up the year. Please RSVP for these upcoming Events as soon as you can! Lauren and Emily are going to have amazing Events and I highly recommend that you attend :)

Lauren's All-Japanese Karaoke on Saturday, December 1st:

Emily H's 日本交流会 Japanese x American Cultural Exchange Party on Saturday, December 8th:

Thank you to Eilis, Arthur, Linda and Brian for your Facebook posts. I know that it becomes REALLY tough to participate in the group around this time of year because of holidays and family stress. But every little bit helps. Even if you only post just 1 Japanese sentence and a link, you learn something new and you share your newfound knowledge with other group members. And if you attend an Event, you get to show off what you have learned :)

See you on Facebook!

Japanese Language 24/7 Policy: Inactive (non-participating) members will be gently deleted from our roster on a weekly basis. The definition of "inactive" is a member who does not post on Facebook OR attends any Group Events for 30 consecutive days. To be considered "Active" and to avoid being gently deleted, come to at least 1 Meetup Event a month OR post at least 1 Facebook post a month. Thank you. And I am always available for any questions or help in regard to Japanese language. If you want or need help, please ask. We are all here to learn WITHOUT judgment or trolling. The only bad Japanese that will get you booted from this group is NO Japanese (or being a no-show at an Event.)
