Un piacere de rivedere Kevin da tanto tempo non abbiamo parlato. Conversazione interessante con Sara, Enrico, Pietro, Jill e Mat. Una buona occasione di praticare questa bella lingua. Grazie a tutti!

One more comment on the yearly Meetup contributions:
Meetup charges $144/ year for the maintenance of our Meetup website.
We greatly appreciate having the website and this forum to exchange our language experience and meetup like minded individuals.

It is thanks to this website that we get new participants. It would be great if we can share these related expenses. So if you appreciate having this forum to enhance your learning needs and meet new people please consider making a small contribution.
If you don't like paying with credit cards on the internet here is a proposal:

Put the exact amount of your donation in an envelop and write your name, the date and
the amount donated and hand it over to me at the end of the meeting. Thanks!

Here is a summary of our conversation structure:
We start by introducing ourselves in Italian.

You can prepare answers to the following questions :
Come ti chami? What is your name?
Come hai imparato l'italiano? how did you learn Italian?
Dove lavori? Cosa fai? Where do you work? what do you do for a living?
Cosa hai fatto d'interessante-bello questa settimana?
What interesting thing did you do this week?
Che giorno e oggi? what day is today?
Quali sono i giorni della settimana? what are the names of the days of the week?
A quel mese siamo oggi? What month are we in?
Quale stagione del anno preferisci? what season of the year do you like?
come e la temperatura nel state a Saint Louis? how is the temperature in summer at St Louis?

It is a pleasure to see the participation increasing steadily, we were 7 this past Saturday July the 19th.

The $6 donation a year to cover the yearly Meetup fees to keep our Meetup website active is a symbolic contribution, it represents 50 cents a month. Considering we are offering 4 conversations sessions a month, this is translated into 25 cents/ conversation session.

Thanks a lot to all that have paid your $6/ yearly contributions through the website. It is greatly appreciated!

As I replied to B.J. Cupps earlier, we are not charging to become a member of our group, we are charging to participate at our conversations, and we will be gladly wave the payments from those that have a difficult economic situation.

I chose the payment through the website because it removes the burden from me of asking money at each of our meetings. I do not like asking for contributions, thus I greatly appreciate those that spontaneously contribute. Constructive comments and suggestions are welcome.

Sounds like I might be crossed off the list soon, understandably. I just wanted to say thank you to anyone who was a member a few years ago when I was a regular. We loved meeting up with all of the patient people in this group. I’ve been very sad that it’s been so difficult to attend since then, and I think $6 a year is a great deal if I/we ever do find the time again. Thanks to everyone for helping my father & me to improve what little fluency we have :) Arrivederci!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
