Learn to Crochet and Make Amigurumis

We meet once a month on the second Sunday of the Month (except holidays) in Cerritos.

Come and learn to crochet and make cute little animals (Amigurumis), meet new people who share the love of yarn arts. We have lots of fun and get in a little stich and bitch.

We welcome all levels of experience and love to share new ideas and you don't necessarily have to work on Ami's, but they are a lot of fun to create.

You will need to bring:  Plain light colored yarn, weight (3 or 4); crochet hooks size H thru K; an easy pattern, you can download free from www.amiamour.com or any yarn company website like LionBrand www.lionbrand.com

Please, because space is limited if you sign up to attend and cannot make it, remove yourself so that someone else will be able to.  Thank you.

Unfortunately we feel the need to institute a new policy.   Due to disrespect of our time, of others who do attend and limitation of space,  if you RSVP and do not show up for two (2) Meetups, we will delete you from our group.  We are unhappy to have to take these steps, but it has become apparent that common courtesy is not very common any more.

Happy Crocheting

I love Amigurumis. I wonder how they got their name?

,,,The word is derived from a combination of the Japanese words ami, meaning crocheted or knitted, and nuigurumi, meaning stuffed doll.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
