Come help us champion human rights by attending one of our letter writing events!
From the very beginning of Amnesty International in 1961, people have written letters on behalf of victims of human rights abuses. Today, hundreds of thousands of ordinary people throughout the world challenge cruelty and injustice by taking a few minutes to write a letter.
So, join us for a seriously chilled out evening of letter writing here in Amsterdam!
Why do it? To catch up on human rights issues over some food and beers. To take a stance and sign one of our petitions against human rights violations around the world, or have your say and write a letter expressing how you feel.
This is a free and open evening. Come by just to say hello, or get more involved by writing a letter. We will provide writing materials, and additional research on current petitions and letter writing campaigns hosted and supported by Amnesty International.
