2012 Southern Regional Conference

Hi everyone,

The 2012 Southern Regional Conference will be held in Atlanta on Sat, Nov 10 2012. This is a great 1.5 day event with workshops, discussion panels and other activities that I highly encourage you to attend to expand your knowledge about human rights. You'll get to hear from speakers like Dulce Guerrero, an organizer with Dream Activist Georgia, civil rights leader Reverend Timothy McDonald, and Anthony Graves, a former death row exoneree.

It's also a great networking event to meet other Amnesty folks in the area as well as in the regional from the high school, college and local groups.

Please register for this event through the link below. Registration fee is $25 (or $15 for students and seniors) and that automatically will make you a dues paying member (or renew) of the national organization.

General agenda:
Fri, Nov 9: 6:30-9:30PM - Welcome Reception at Twain's
Sat, Nov 10: 9AM-6:30PM - Conference
Sun, Nov 11: 9:30AM-11AM - Caucuses

Twain's is a great place - laid back, good food, diverse crowd - very "decatur"

Hello Walid, thanks for the links to the conference! Weekends, afternoons when the kids are asleep or dont need me works best for me! So, maybe 2pm to 4pm I can be there, are you going to be at the event the whole day? Thanks!
