The Big Future of Data event

’The Big Future of Data’ is the national event organized by COMMIT/ on 2 October 2014 starting at 13h30 in Amsterdam.
COMMIT/ is the national research program with 80 Dutch partners - universities and companies - that faces the challenges in ICT and Big Data research at a world level.

COMMIT/ presents fifty demos with ground-breaking research and the latest in Big Data science at the visual demo market*.
How are these scientific results applicable in today’s society? And what will be the economic impact?

The event will be opened by Bertholt Leeftink, Director-General Enterprise and Innovation at Ministry of Economic Affairs.

The future of ICT in The Netherlands will be discussed by former minister of Finance, Jan Kees de Jager and leading speakers as Peter-Paul Verbeek, professor of philosophy of technology at the University of Twente. Researchers, partner companies, young entrepreneurs & young scientists will attend the event and share their innovative vision on the future at the After Data Party.

    I did not see that much big data, a lot of image and some development methodology projects from TNO.
    of course a lot of young enthousiastic people and that is allways fun.
    So: a bit of a disappointment.
