March 21 Line-up (7 comedians!):
Dan Gagnon (CAN)
-A canadian born radio and tv host turned stand-up comedian in the French part of Belgium, Dan Gagnon has filled the Royal Circus in Brussels with his first show two years ago. This expat who spent the last ten years in Belgium is just starting to do comedy in English. Known in the french community for his work on NRJ Radio and as a tv personality for “RTBF” (the public tv in Belgium) Dan Gagnon is a 30 year-old guy who spends most of his time wondering if he’ll ever grow out of his fear of becoming an adult.
Bob Maclaren (NZ)
-Bob is born in New Zealand and a resident of Amsterdam. He has delighted every corner of the world with his laconic and surprising comedy. A combination of kiwi isolation and the lurid madness of Benelux gives Bob a refreshingly unusual view of life as he sees it. A storyteller extraordinaire with a body language that can be best described as mildly unhinged; his routines have been televised on every continent. A superbly visual performer with razor sharp observations, Bob’s stand up has seen him grace the stages of Montreal, London, Amsterdam and every other corner of the planet.
Caroline Clifford (UK)
Caroline is from England where she reached the final of the prestigious So You Think You're Funny, Amused Moose and Funny Women competitions. She now lives in Berlin where she co-hosts the incredibly popular We Are Not Gemüsed comedy show Neukölln confessional and Mode7. She is known for her fast wit, dark surreal and imaginative sense of humour.
Drew Portnoy (USA)
Drew traded the mountains of Colorado for the Berlin nightlife over a decade ago. Then he became a father. He aims his dry humor and sharp tongue at his biggest enemies: his children and Germans. He performs in both English and German and was a finalist in Berlin-based Quatsch Comedy Club's prestigious annual Talentschmiede competition. He recently acted in a comedy pilot for German TV and won NPR Berlin's 2014 storytelling competition.
Joe Eagan (CAN)
The show is put on by InternationalComedians.com, and it's founder Joe will be treating us to his new experimental act called "15 new bad jokes"
plus special guest Rob AndristPlourde (USA)
& hosted by the amazing Hank (NL)!
Keep your calendars open for the other shows on Apr 11 and May 16 as well with more comics from around the world.
