https://github.com/henrikengstrom/akka-meetup-sthlm Here is a github project for Akka hackathon we were doing in December '13. This is a nice tutorial for building small Akka application with Akka-remoting...

Hey Joost, I think I can do an interactive workshop covering some useful (hopefully)) patterns/tricks for building Scala/Akka based services / APIs.

Can someone take up the task of photographing the event?

    March 6, 2014

  • Elmar W.

I got an idea from a blog post about another teaching event to use a competitive real world problem as a learning tool. My idea would be to prepare a workshop to learn / work with akka by programming actors that have to either play against each other or solve a problem together. So either a distributed algorithm or some kind of war game. Since this takes some preparation, is anyone interested in helping preparing this?
