Join us for an evening of live coding in Clerkenwell's Crypt on the Green from 6pm - 10pm sponsored by the Intel Developer Zone.
David Roulin, a Corona SDK Ambassador will develop a simple prototype game in approximately an hour. The prototype will demonstrate the use of the Corona SDK for graphics and 2D animation (sprite sheets, parallaxes, tweening, and shapemasks blendmodes), audio and video, the physics engine, event-driven programming, structured in blocks (storyboard), and a little more if time permits (leaderboards, database, Facebook, sockets).
Of course he will not work alone - you will help! And doing so will give you the chance to win an Corona SDK license!
Once completed Mihai Risca, “Application Engineer” at Intel will monitor the game with GPA, a very useful tool dedicated to game optimisation.
The rest of the evening will be used for networking and discussion. The event is of course entirely free and food and drink will be provided throughout the evening.
