Droidcon London 2012

This is a paid event since it is especially awesome, goes on for days and you get fed: £200 Buy a ticket here:

Day 1: Barcamp! Attendees vote on the first day's talks dynamically in the morning! We ask a room full of Android Ecosystem contributors(you) to decide what is worth discussion. No format rules, no predetermined outline, just clever enthusiastic developers, designers and business people.

Day 1: Democamp 1 hour of demos of the latest and greatest Android apps! Press, VCs, Business angels and investors will be here, and the entire Droidcon crowd cheering you! If you have an app to launch this is the place to be!

Day 2: Conference Droidcon London intends to explore the Android platform now in 2012 and how/where it will continue to grow in future. Lots of very practical talks and discussions on day to day development and considerations including fragments, testing, hardware and styles. Also we hear from some you might not know are shaping the Android future, such as Ouya, Vendscreen and Parrot. I hope the content and speakers represent our enthusiasm and excitement for the future of the platform!

Day 2/3: Hackathon Excited by the sheer power and potential of all of your new contacts at Droidcon, team up with them to realise our interconnected Android future! A host of red double decker busses will whizz you away to food and Hackathon at Skillsmatter! We dare you to put your new found knowledge to good use! Lots of prizes (£10k worth of kit to win) and room for playing around.

    If anyone is interested in having a play with an embedded controller to make real world things happen - which is easier to configure and code with than an arduino have a look at the vodafone stand on Thursday!
