Thanks Terence,

I couldn't find any easy way to flash my phone as I'm on a mac but in fairness I could do some more digging. Ideally I like to be on as base a google rom as possible.

Cheers,

Depends on your phone, but I recommend flashing the latest radio if you can.  Anecdotally, some networks perform better with their approved radio - so flash a few and see what happens.

For SGS firmware, I use Darky's ROM http://www.darkyrom.com/community/index.php which I think has the latest radio.

Subject: [londroid] Network issues

Hi all,

Is anyone having network issues like this http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1714413

In the bond street area my s2 spends the whole time toggling 3g hspa and hspa+ . Turning of hspa seems to help but obviously not ideal!

Any thoughts welcome.

Ian
